well ive only onwened this for a couple of weeks now
the plan was to convert to 4wd but i havnt the time or room to do it now

so its up for sale as its in the way now

the car itself is in very good condition, i carnt find any rust anywhere on it

it has a fully seamwelded shell everywhere is seam welded it has also been lightened by what i can tell and is very well strengthened ip with the cage

the cage goes everywhere inside engine bay from bulkhead, acorss bulkjead behind dash, cross door bars, cross at the back, roof bars going down behind dash, rear srtut bar, also links to rear tunnel, and a bar at bottom off hoop

i carnt explanin the cage very well but it has been done to a truely amazing standard

it has full gartrac arches and skirts aswell

and a fibreglass bonnet which ive never seen before held on by bonnet pins

here are some pics of the car when i got please bare in mind its just a shell now nothing in it, but i have the bare dashboard aswell as this has benn cut in certain places to fit round the cage

the only bad bit is the tailgate needs adjusting as its just catching the roof and chipped the paint away but other than that its a truel good car





















this would make an ideal shell if your converting your rs to a track car as all you will need to do is swap everything over

as you can guess i bet that cage isnt cheap to have done to a escort

open to offers but will be cheap

fire extinguisher system
hydraulic handbrake
clocks and switches

as these are the other owners that i bought it and i said ill take them off for him

everything is still on, mirrors, glass etc as u see it

also has heated screen

 

I used to own that until i sold it to Dunc after 1 week



It had this in it then together with a Quaife box , big brakes all round etc...

it is a good shell, looks very sad at the moment but with the wide track you can run on this it will make for a very good fwd car just need a nice 300+ engine, shame all the nice suspension and brakes are gone but thats life still cheep at £300 for a sound shell at this spec
