Default FAO Origin b2 Laser Detector owners

Me and the old man went halves on one the other week. Connected it all up in his motor (didn't wire it all up neat and tidy as we were only testing), went out for a blat, no problems at all - Works a treat.

Took it all out and put it in mine. Did a proper install this time, can't see any wires, it look the nuts. But when I'm out in mine, it keeps coming up with a "LASER" alert every minute or so!!

Any ideas why?

Could it be that there is something electrical in the car that it doesn't like?
All I have is a ###########(I think) alarm and ########### Immobiliser. Standard stereo and speakers.

And before anyone says have you connected it all up right and checked it ... Yes I have, all wires are plugged in where they should be.

Cheers

Is it pointing at the heated screen?

With my V1 detector I can only get strong/long range signals when the V1 unit is positioned away from the heating element part of the screen.

Darrone,

Mine does this in my focus

Its getting electrical interference, the cure is to pop in maplins and get some ferrit collars the part number you will require is N88AB they cost about £2,
All you do is wrap the Positive feed to the B2 around the collar, piece of pish to do takes about 5 mins....
