Stu, may be easier for people to PM you rather than make themselves sound big-headed and up themselves ?

 

Shouldnt the reason be "written on a 50 pound note and posted to MSD"

Thats normal convention i believe.

 

Maybe being able to express yourself clearly without sounding up yourself is one of the key attributes stu requires?

Or maybe you have to reply to the thread cause its in the contributors room and hence stops any non contributor applying?

 

My PM box is full and ive no time to sift through em all, plus, the webteam can alos read it and give their opinions on suitability based on their experience of teh user in question.

i'd love to be a moderator and i've expressed my interest and believe i was shortlisted before. Sadly, i've chosen not to renew my goldmembership as i only used it for looking at the topics in the mens room and for putting my cars for sale. I'm always on the lookout for things like for sale ad's in the wrong section and the dodgy ad's that have recently appeared on the forum. Would be nice to be able to do something about them instead of forwarding them to someone else.

BTW i'm writing this here as i can't access the topic in the contributors discussion area and with stu mentioning he has loads of pm's to sift through maybe this post could be for non goldmembers.

 

i'd be interested still,.. dont fancy all the muppet stuff though, im quite a serious person reallly put me down for the escos , tech, and general forums

i'm sorry you feel that way Lee, but i don't use the extra services now do i. I appreciate it costs money to run the site but not everyone can or will contribute to the costs. I have contributed in the past on more than one occasion and choose not to now. As for the avatar picture, that was my car, i had to sell it. Same as the car mentioned in my sig, that had to go too, i'm just too lazy to change them to reflect that.

he stated right,if i payed the (scandalous i.m.o)£20 i would only use it to advertise cars,i dont pay for pistonheads and many other busy car forums,what makes pf so special?sometimes the site is down and runs so slow
the traders contributions alone should cover the running cost of the site alone
a guy came on here offering to host pf for free if i remember correctly and was more or less shot down because of it
the majority who come on here are non GOLD members not the fact that they cant afford it, but you dont pay for many sites ,why this one?
