Default Chipping a TD Van. One for Stu or APT maybe? ;o)

If I was to chip a 1.8 TD Escort Van, what kind of power (before and after) would this make?

Are there any drawbacks? Like badly increased engine wear/ noise etc?

Thanks

you need a TDDI for big improvements..
i run a focus tddi with 120 bhp .. 90 bhp is standard..

on a TD you can set the actuator tighter yourself
there isnt a lot of gain in the chip ...

TT,

As an example mine has the 115bhp & 250lbft of Torque TDCi motor in it, if i were to chip it or put a BlueFin onto it the figures would go upto around 140-150bhp and 290 - 300lbft of torque.

From what i can recall from the Focus BB anyway.

My company hires cars from a lease company and we get new focus's every 25k miles, is the chip something I could take out and put in a new one myself?
