My escos is having the stone chips done at the moment by my mate. He rang me yesterday to say the car would not start - key fob not working so I gave him my spare last night. Anyway his mate had a look at my car today and has told me my clifford 50x brain has packed in.
I am a bit tight for cash at the moment and now I am going to have to stump up the cash for a new alarm - been quoted £275 for a CAT1 (including removing the old one etc..) - I just seems that when you need to calm down a bit with the spending things go wrong!

That is a good point! - I will have to dig out the paperwork. If it was installed elsewhere would I have to tke it to a clifford specialist to have it repaired? Would they still work on it if it has been disable for now like mine?

Well i know clifford has gone tits up as a company but i'm sure either toad or laserline took over there warranty work. And there still bringing out new alarms so someone is still doing them.So best look round your area for someone that does still deal with them.Try the yellow pages as the adverts usually state which companys they deal with.
