My setup is going to be different than your guys, as I have a Merkur XR4ti with a T-5 tranny - BUT, I do have a B&M Shifter!
I like it a lot. The craftsmanship is great and it is very stout. The shifts are very quick, around 6" or so of throw.
Pictures of my install may be found here: http://www.85xr.com/T-5.htm. You can see pics of the B&M Shifter.
Hope that helps?
