I called auto specialists to complain about my bonett latch yesterday he said you should take of all chrome bits if the car is being garaged or at least cover them in grease or oil to prevent rusting

I will have to do a few track days this year with the rs lot, as i get the best of both world.

Get to have a look at a load of rapid cossies and get to have a go myself without worrying about that 3k rebuild at the end of the day, my cossie never let me down in nearly 2 years of hard driving but the thought of it letting go is always there its not though with the teg which i like

 

 

alps, jt S2000 chucked a leg outta bed with only 20,000 miles on it, so as much as you like to think mate Vtecs aint indestructable ( sp )

I know they break the clutches seem to be the week point but for Ł8000 and a car that is 5 years old there is nothing out there that can live up to it imo and hold its value like the teg does.

TBH i think that the love of fords is due to growing up with them not cause there great cars. It will be the same thing in loads of different countrys the germans love to tune the vdubs, the japs love there jap motors etc etc

I love me fords and as stated above i am looking for another cheapy that i can fook about with as i love old fords but as a daily runner the teg wins hands down

 

Mate ordered a Chromed rocker cover for his girlfriends Fiesta Turbo from them too......and it rusted.....so is he supposed to take the rocker cover off every winter ? What a lame ass excuse !!

 

best thing to do with chrome is give it a good auto sol then a dimond brite

Worked for a jap car company for 12 year seen first hand what goes on but i suppose its the same in any car plant seen some proper shocking sites that have left a factory floor people think there getting a mint brand new car they are'nt. Alps and all ford nuts they only get better when we have them. We spend 1000's on them with little return if sold on parted with me 3dr wont part with me turbo more mods on the way.
