BEDFORD PICS HERE
I'll have a few in a mo hopefully - just of peeps in the pit area with their cars. All track stuff is on video camera from in the car - DVD being burnt as I type!
Just a quicky - do I have to edit out all the reg plates from the photos? If so no piccys for a while as I have MS Paint only, and I'm a lazy bugger too!

Ok, a few pics to get the ball rolling:
My car, bought last Tues, and ragged all day today. It looks a lot better when clean, and looked a lot better when I bought it at 11pm in the rain! Man it needs some TLC!

Only mechanical prob ALL day was the throttle cable return spring snapped going into a corner, so when I backed off the car didn't

Fixed using the aid of a random spring a Palmersport guy gave me (thank you matey
) and a load of zip ties, Cowboy Motorsport stylie!
My brother's (Sketch) car - spent the whole day in close formation with him, both of us having good lines and bad, and lapping within 10ths of a second of each other I would say. His car quicker on the straights, mine a tad better in the twisties. We overtook SO many cars today - Mi16 Pugs are great! Shame everything Turbod creamed us on the straights, more power needed for next time!

Loved the above two cars - AFAIK / IIRC they are both standard 1400cc engines but were two of the fastest cars around the track
This Boxter belonging to a certain Reyland 3 door driving mad man was shifting well when he was driving it, though I did overtake it 3 times in my little Pug (guess other peeps were driving at the time?)

Tony Turbos mint 1.6!!! (overtook this too!! Think he was being a bit more sensible than me tho...)

Reyland Metro showing why it was so damn fast round the track (I struggled to stay vaguely near this car - "properly peddaling man" (Or something like that)

Alex F modding his Scoob for more speed!

Or in reallity changing the disks as I think he killed one set whilst there!
Mike Rainbird's motor (didn't race this but by all accounts very very quick track going road car, or is the other way round?)

A Fiat Coupe Turbo - not sure what they were doing to it in the pits, but it involved A LOT of tools! Wish the Cossie had this kinda of big opening front end, new BMW Mini style:

Polly X's midly nippy Westfield (or similar) kit car!! Very professional / high quality installation:

Sorry for the blurryness, was shivering me nuts off!
No on track pics I'm afraid as the camera is poo, and no real place to take pics close enough to the action - got nearly 2 hours in car video footage to play around with now - will post some clips as when I've uploaded them.
Cheers all - many thanks to all who made life safe / fun when I overtook em (ie pulling over / indicating etc), I hope I was as courteous back (I was on the concrete most of time to let peeps by!!) and for the odd 2 cars that didn't
Have some courtesy next time you pricks!! You know who you are!
Thanks again to Beds RSOC for the organisation and spot on service - lets hope my (relatively) local groups learn from this one for their own!!!
Cheers

The Fiat Coupe is my mates... the reason for the `major overhaul`
is that on his first outing it threw the power steering belt... and was consequently a bitch to fit the new one on!!
Got sorted in the end though

Lost about a tenner worth of optimax first.
(really it was a plan to lay fuel on the track and make it more slippery so we could go sideways in an underpowered nail

But I have to say, chances are you only went passed me because I was on a slow down lap, or it was a twisty bit and I let you go past. I didn't get over taken once on a straight and that was only 1.4bar
I just wasn't giving it 110% round the corners incase I broke it.

Translation, car is fast but im

Or....
Car is fast, even with boost turned down
And it was the first time it has been on track properly and I didn't want to damage it until I felt more confident in it and myself
