Got a slight problem when accelerating low down in any gear, its like its misfiring and chugging real bad up until about 2.5k revs but its had all the plugs and leads changed etc etc, a local mechanic thought it might be the crank shaft sensor so had that changed. Still no luck

Any ideas?

 

i'd try the lambda first then if that doesnt cure it swap the airflow meter, try that-if you've got a mate with an escort or mondeo just borrow his to see if it improves any.

if not fit them first

coil unit after that i recon

 

if its a 1.6 and u need a ecu i got a 1.6 ecu out my fiesta si also got a MAF and a laber thingy in the pipe of my si lol should be able to send any to you just to try pm me if u want any

yes mate, pretty sure they were ford plugs ran fine with what ever were in there for a good few months anyway

Funny that, mines doing the same, and I also though about the coil pack, but being Ł60 from Ford made me think twice, just incase its not lol. My plugs were quite black, as if it was running rich. So I'm gonna clean them up today and see if anything happens.

 

I also have a spare Ignition Coil if you want one, used, but its genuin Ford

 

id just say the maf mine did this until i cleaned it
