It was a fan-fappin-tastic day

Cheers to all involved setting the day up

Hammered the arse out of my Escort and it behaved good as gold all day. Had a couple of moments.

Hope the people I took out though the old girl went ok and apologies to the people that I couldn't take out.

Got about an hours worth of video which I'll rip tomorrow if somebody can host it

Had a nightmare week with the car! Everything that could possibly go wrong did! Worked all last night in an attempt to get it trackworthy and gave up! Then decided this morning to have another go cus we wanted to do this day so much! Finally got it running at 9.00 this morning and got to beds at 12.00.

My mate did two laps and the servo piped popped off causing a nice spin!! Noticed the new fookin breather system we bought especially to replace what we thought was an inadequate system was still lobbin oil out of the little filter! so we may have probs elsewhere. We connected a bottle up to the breather pipe and I did a lap and came back in to find the bottle full of oil, so game over for us.

Looked like others were having fun though! May see the fiesta in the for sale section at this rate!

Paul - Yeah it's only a gearbox at the end of the day....It's done excedingly well considering the amount of abuse i've given it over the past 2 years!

Tiff - Just looking through the 80mins of tape i took....Got some quality footage of Alex in the scooby sideways at every corner... Still not found your footage yet though....it's goes like this......

**Tiff over takes me giving it the bird as he goes past**

Come to few corners then long straight, lots of traffic so hold back....about 3/4 cars infront of me......

I can remember Rossco's commentary....

Yeah the womble spin was funny quote "its all good"

TBH mikes car was amazing, its got loads of grip, a really nice balance of being able to slide the tail a little while still keeping the car going in the right direction and its quick and the brakes a half decent

Tony got much better towards the end of the day. In the begining i felt i was able to stay with him, but after he got the feel for his car on track he just quicker and quicker with his RST and i just couldnt keep up towards the end sessions. Looks like i need more than a stage 1 RST

Tiff, that was a proper spin and we were crying as joined the track and were shaking your hands all over the place Tyres went off wernt it??

Most impressive cars of the day must have been Martins Metro, Mike Escoss and the M3 CSL

Cheers Adam to
