can anyone givve me some tips on removing the headlight, im trying to clean all the waxoil up that the previous owner has sprayed on the inner wing and then re do it properly!!! ive got al bolts off the unit but it seems stuck, i dont want to force it?? any ideas?

 

There is a bolt underneath that you can get to through the foglight/indicator in the bumper

 

might be a stupid question have you removed the bolts underneath which you can access by removing the fog/ind lamps and remove the side lamp??

er...... how do you get the fog lamps off!!!!!

 

Click the indicator out, then your see a spring loaded release clip allowing you to pull the fog light out

 

mate this indicator isnt budging and im defo not seeing any spring loaded clip, when you say click?? what do you mean? click what?? more detail please bruv?

the fog light just wasnt budging, didnt want to break it tbh!!

 

sorry about the pic the top blue arrow is the spring clip you need to push that up so you need a long thin screw driver or the like then the indicator will pop out. after that you can undo the clip on the fog light. then you will have access to the bottom headlight screw, there are only three screws holding the light in but there is a locating point on the headlight but that is just a lug on the headlight itself so once all 3 screws are out you wont have any probs

I've never found that bolt through the foglight/indicator section in the bumper.

 

its their just a nite mare to do!!!

ive never taken a fog light off and had so much trouble with it!!!
