I was browsing a pc forum and came across this reply from someone who asked a question about msn messenger:

" did you know that everything you type in MSN goes through a MS Server and as soon as you enter a key word you conversation is automaticly recorded? not only that, but through msn - MS have a detailed profile on almost everybody that uses it age, location ect... and there have been rumores of MS selling info to the government. now is that Big Brother or what??"

m8 nio bull every conversation you have be it on phone mobile or land line goes through a computer s and if you say the right words then they look into it


dont you remember in the papers last year the man that sent text messaghes to a m8 containing the words bomb plane gun mi15 stormed his office and arrested him took ages for him to convince them he was on about a play or something


sdo would not suprise me that msn convo are recorde to

 

If thats the case why arent all msn users behind bars

 

It is true, as Greg said everything we say is passed through filters and any key words are flagged up for investigation.

Search engines, phone conversations, texts, MSN, AOL, emails... It goes on and on.
Its been going on for years!

I highly doubt MSN have a list of people that they sell to the government.. Infact I think that can be dismissed.

 

Technology is great - but every key stroke, text or conversation leaves either an audit trail or verbal evidence.

I firmly believe the opening post was absolutely true - but doubt highly MSN sell the info on, that's a bit far fetched but do provide security services with what could be construed as 'suspect' information.

 

So if i send a txt with 'Bomb Bald Minge Kill Blair and Taliban' i am fucked

Mate, you even mention Tony Blairs name, or any current world leader/president etc on the phone and instantly you will have someone listening in to your conversation! Or it will be recorded. Other known key words of course are BOMB, TERRORIST/TERRORISM, IRA, TALIBAN etc.... This shit has been going on for AGES!
