Is there anyway that when you open a new thread, the image place holders open up at the size the final image will be displayed at?

It's a small gripe, but if i open a long thread, and am reading part way down, it "jumps" as the pics are displatyed further up, so i have to scroll down. In practise, if u want to read a thread, u have to wait for it and all it's images to have finished loading.

I "think" teh placeholders are set by your browser?

 

u can turn place holders on and off - not tested to see if this changes things though

 

The correct solution, is for people to upload pictures of less than 50K instead of a meg

 

never going to happen though, and if the thread has a lot of pics, it will still be a pain. I can live with it - just thought it would be good if it can be sorted.
