Default Opinions on tyres?

Which tyres do people prefere? Looking something that has very good dry grip and decent wet grip? I've been using Toyos T1-s's and T1R's for a few years now so thats what i'm used to. Oh these are for road use as well

I know where i stand with the T1R/S as i've used them for so long. I had goodyear eagles many moons ago so i can't really remember what they are like!

Was just wondering if the likes of Bridgestone/Avon/Michelin/Pirelli do anything better than the Toyo?

Id stay Toyo, good price and good performance.

Ive allways been looked after by Toyo aswell ive even had a rep come out and swap a tyre that in the end wasnt even defective, gave me his mobile and told me to call if i ever have a problem.

Top service

Thats it mate, performance tyres dont last long

Kingchangyingyong tyres are made with hard plastic and rated for twenty thousands of miles but drive like blocks of ice

What have other people used on saph's with 18'' wheels ??

Compared to Bridgestone i have found Toyo's poor in comparison on my M3 i used to have. Although i have just bought Toyo R888 for my track wheels i wouldn't buy Toyo's for road tyres on any of my cars, only my opinion & i know a lot of people rate them highly.

Simon.

Got Avons on the front of the cossie and they are PROPER SHIT. Got cheap budget tyres on the rear and they are better than the Avons.

On my 15s I had Eagle F1s and cannot fault them

personally toyos are cheap and reflect on how long they last

eagles cost more and reflect in their performance.. id certainly only put one tyre on my car..

eagle f1's only for me too. had a new pair fitted to the rears this morning. micheldever tyres came up in their van and did a mobile fit for just less than £200 for the pair. not bad i thought. would've been £25 less without the mobile service, but just don't have time to go anywhere.

as said have had toyo,s etc in the past, and thought they were impressive then when i bought the escos it had pirellis on and they were absolute bollox, to hard, lethal in the wet. purchased a full set of goodyears f1's and they are well impressive both in the wet and the dry and were very reasonable on the pocket aswell, got them for £110 a corner (225/40/18).
