i really want at least 200 bhp from my xr3i how can i do this.

im up in inverness so resources and advice are very limited please help

 

Buy a RST turbo

Waste of time and effort and you'd be left with a modified XR.

Smoke round in the XR until you've got the cash for an RST

Don't know much about RST tuning myself but it's fairly simple to get 200bhp

I'd guess at a chip, cam, exhaust and decent intercooler but I'm sure one of the RST boys will tell you for sure

 

Too difficult and a waste of time if you only want 200bhp

1600cc CVH is good enough for 300

That'll do for 200.............I'd add a decent air filter and that's about it........don't prat about with the 3i, buy an RST that's already done (as most are, if not nthey're halfway there). Alot cheaper and far less agg.

 

trouble is ill have to probs travel a bit fro a good example but they are worth it!!!!

 

can i not just use my 1600 cvh in the 3i for the zvh converstion or is the rst better where is the nearest place i could get a roll in roll out zvh conv.?

 

I'm down in Bristol and the bloke who bought my mates RST was from Scotland

well i tell you why i asked its because i love to be different and i love my 3i and i want to keep the cvh just modd it a wee bit maybe bore it out better cams but the difficulty is the mfi!!!!

 

Forget the ZVH, just a well tuned CVH will suffice

 

XR's are for paupers, get the RS
