Default Fans What do you think

Hello again Thanks to my mate Roy hes got the fans working

We had the car running but bottom hose was not getting warm so he put the old state back in after testing new one found to be faulty

One wire was a bad contact on fan switch he sorted that
All tested fine

Hes told me to take the new state back which ill do tomorrow

But the fans seem to only cut in on small fans just before it goes to the black line under the red and then takes it back down to half way

My mate still going to put the new state in once they exchange it and a fan switch to just in case thats why its cutting in so late

Even with fans cutting in so late the oil preasure still quarter of the way up so it cant be running that hot and no loads of heat hitting you in the face when you pop the bonnet

Any one else had a problem like this

Thanks again Roy

Temp sender was bought from woodford's(gen ford)
so should be right

And as for the fan switch we've ordered one from ford's
who only list one switch for that model!

Just have to wait till the new thermostat and switch
turn up and go from there, fingers crossed all will
be ok.

Mate i got brave the fan switch is done no change still cutting in just under black line before it goes into red
Oil pressure is still on quarter on idle when the fans cut in

Roy mate its the state now last result be here tomorrow

If not do as you say take the rad off and flush it

And as i say when the fans do cut in theres no major heat comming from engine bay when you lift the bonnet
