If the car is too low with the standard CV joint the shaft will distroy it within miles...

GGR doing a 50% longer CV joint so it won't fall out...BTW it ain't cheap but mine is still ok after 5 years

Deffo check engine mounts

Had this prob on my old 4x4,the mounts look ok untill you jack up the engine
Mine just split into 2 pieces, both mounts

But as said above,if car is too low you will need longer shafts

Cheers fellas.

I've had a look and it looks like the original shaft had already been swapped for an xr4x4 so i've sorted that with another 4x4 shaft, as for the mounts i haven't had chance to look yet so its stayin put till i've checked, what is it that i should look for.

Trolley jack under sump, jack it up slowly and watch the engine mounts split into two pieces

Obviously if it starts to lift the car up when your jacking up the sump the mounts are ok,but I doubt it
