can anyone help, im a bit confused on what headbolts to use on my 1.8 ZVH,

i have been told theres 3 ways of doing it, but which is best?

extra long headbolts

Standard CVH headbolts with thinner washers (but what sixe washer is needed?)

and spot the head down so the bolt sits lower in the head.

so which is best and why?

 

i bought proper zvh head bolt from burton power mate about £35 there are a lot longer than rst ones do it properly you no it makes sense

 

DON'T BUY FROM BURTON.

They are crap quality and the strech! i have photos to prove it.

Call RacePower Morotsport who sell UNBRAKO bolts which are superior quality

However if i had the money i would buy some specially made head studs

 

we buy UNBRAKO bolts through work, Can these be used again or they only a use once bolt? and any idea what length and thread i need, as i can get a price for them through work.

Duratec V6 bolts and an extra washer - get them from Ford.
