If you've got the time, space and patience you can make a fair amount by breaking one. Mine had LOTS of uprated parts, including quite a lot that was either brand new and never fitted, or had only been fitted. I just about made enough to pay off my saph.

However, I had to borrow a tiny garage from a friend that was a good 45mins drive away and with that not a great deal of spare time I really struggled to get the car broken up. Took me a good 18months and in the end I got kicked out the garage due to the sale of the place and had to sell the rest of the car on ebay!

not as much as they used to either, too many people doing it, can get any ppart you need off ebay any time these days

i still break old dog turbo's if i fine em but i dont really boither selling the parts, i just hoard em up once enuff is sold to cover my original cost

for the hassle off it its often worth selling whole

 

i broke a standard FRST for 900 quid

had ptential for more money but i rushed it

 

im expecting to get 12-1300 from the frst im breaking atm unless i keep all the goodies
