Default high revs on FRST management?

my ERST has got a prob with high revs at the mo on idle, also the revs die a bit when I put the cluthc in when coming to a standstill, any ideas on what it could be?

Someone I've spoken to has suggested cleaning out the ISCV?

I would clean out the ISCV anyway(& TB too myself), then start by setting the idle. With the engine @ norm opp temp & ISCV dissconected, set the revs to 725 ish rpm, reconect ISCV, & leave to idle for 10-15 mins, no reving/blipping! for ECU to relearn new idle values. If NG, try dissconecting the speed sensor wires (3 pin plug leading to speedo drive) If ok, replace sensor.

im just someone now am i wes, disconnecting the iscv wont make any differnce as the engine will die, and manual adjstment of the idle is next to usless as the ecu will compensate, you should never have to adjust the idel on it, the ecu works it outs, maybe a tiny bit of fin tuning but it wont make a diffence, you need to clean the sensore mate and get ya ass round and borrow my fault finder, if the iscv is cleaned and it still does it then a sensors down, oh yeah sorry i didnt reply to ya text wes, i was at work and forgot

As soon as I get it MOT'd mate I'll pop round

the revs are fine now, think it was having a moment lol, but it tries to die on me sometimes when pulling up, I'll get the CO2 and fuel pressure checked and see what they're up to first
