I am getting married on september the 2nd and looking to get a stag weekend sorted for the middle of August.
Any ideas of good places to go, need somewhere that has got stuff to do in the day and plenty of night life.

I understand that cost is an issue so my post will not be much help, sorry, but I thought it worth typing any way.

I've been to Munich, Brussels and Madrid on stag do's, three nights for around the Ł150 mark.

Top jollies all of em, have also been to Butlins in Minehead! that was OK. Notts was ok, but abroad just seems more fun.

Am off to Hamburg next month for another gentlemans trip.

Never done Blackpool so cant comment, sorry.

 

I looked into going to barcelona for the catalunaia moto gp race, but getting it all sorted for about 23-30 people

Sounds strange but what about York? I went golfing there last summer and of a night time it was absolutely heaving with girls. We were in a bar (8 blokes) and we were the only males males in the room apart from the doormen. The place was full too!!!!
I asked one of the door men what was going on and he said its always like this because apparently York is the hen night capital of the UK. I dont know if thats bollocks or not but we were out numbered in every bar by atleast 6-1......It was in the summer tho so it wont be anywhere near that busy now.

Just one point that is worth bearing in mind though, just remember that yeh you want it to be a wicked weekend as its gonna be the last night you will ever be allowed out!

But dont forget that not everyone has money to burn and may have at least one other stag do to go on in the same year

I say this because my mate is getting married in May and the whole stag do has turned into a nightmare and nearly ended up being called off complety, the groom was expecting us to fork out Ł250 for the weekend + petrol money to get there + beer money + food. I reckon it was gonna cost us nearly Ł400 for the weekend

I say its not where you go its the people you take that is important
