this car was registered in 1992 mint condition moonstone blue running over 400+ bhp with t4 turbo, low comp,bottom end,four greys,cams,vennier pulleys twin port actuator with adjustable boost,stainless steel exhaust,samco hoses,alloy tanks, coil overs,17in rs seven spokes diamond cut wheels,full leather re-trim mint dash,smoked lights all round.im located in berkshire and willing to let people view any time. thanks

 

when you going to get it into your head mate its not an RS 500,its a kit car built with some 500 parts

 

wasnt this the same 500 on here a little while back for sale Pete's rite...you'll also find it difficult to shift as its not a genuine 500

 

strip it mate its the best way to make money on this car

 

yer i might do that if i have to but it will be a shame as its so nice

Dont listen to them? why on earth wouldnt you listen to them? I doubt anyones is trying to slag your car off, but advertising something as an RS500 if it clearly isnt is just misleading and wont make you any mates. Why not advertise it as an RS500 replica if thats what it is?

If you do manage to sell that on as a 500, i would expect repercussions.
That said, anyone with an ounce of savvy wouldnt buy it as a genuine 500 anyway.

the car is fooking mint i think the owner is aware that its a reshelled rs 500 and not just a three door wanna be this car is the bollocks and dont care what people say. everything on it is rs500 i mean everything.

Agree that you should advertise it correctly as a 3 door Cosworth and not a 500.
Seen the car when the previous owner had it and it looked tidy although i hated the wheels he had on it

agreed it is a very clean car,

but built from new shell and never built by ford hence the k plate built in 92 with new parts, will allways kill is value to the die hard rs fans who want original cars,

proberly worth more in bits which is a shame.

 

This is an excellent 3door with all the right bits on but certainly no 500 advertise the car for what it is and it will sell

 

As everybody says, a mint car, replica is a bit harsh as it makes it sound bodged together. Seriously well specced 3 door is a sweet description, list all the parts should sell, shame to break another cossie
