I've got Wilwood on mine & have never had a problem with them, personally I would highly recommend them but as others have said some people have had problems with them.

Whats £1600 compared to good brakes that may stop you from killing yourself/youre passengers or innocent road users as you rip around the roads (or fast road use as you put it!!)?????? Time to kop on.Regards Micky

O Joy! So what you are saying there is I need 1600quid + worth of brakes to save my life!!! Im sure there are other brakes out there which will be ample for the job.

I can only spend 700-800 quid that is why I am looking at wilwood or hi spec.

Think I am going for the wilwoods and a wilwood brake bias set up.

Cheers,

Jim

Im pretty sure that Willwood are a subsiduary company of AP in the same way that Brembo are.

I've seen Willwoods used on numerous dedicated track cars.

Willwood would be my personal choice based on having seen them work and work well.

for the money i would get a set of brembo's [focus RS] and then get some custom bells and then get some 330mm rotors!!

this lot should come to around the same price as what your looking at.

hopr this helps

There is the pic of the compbrake one that fits under a standard wheel.

Its a lightweight alloy 4 pot caliper with bigger disc which is made as a disc and bell set up to avoid warp.

This set up has been tested in competition (by me) against Wilwood and blows it away without any questions.

Rear brakes should effectivly do sod all mate. The back of the car is so light that they are almost not needed.

Uprate the fronts first
