Default autostyle oil breather problem!!

Just fitted the above to my 1988 escort rst and have a problem the car starts fine for a few seconds with aid of the throttle but when you let it idle the car stalls.

It must be something basic so has anyone come across this problem before? I did not pipe in the one way valve which goes to the left of the inlet manifold on the original system (as i broke it by mistake), is this to be included in the new breather or would that not make a difference? Im confident ive connected all the pipes the correct way but any pics would also be a help.

I should add that the car started perfectly before uggrading to the aftermarket breather.

the 'pipe' coming off the inlet manifold on the top needs to be blocked off.

sounds like you haven't connected all the hoses up correctly causing an air leak.
