Hi all

got a problem with my s2 the other day was stuck in traffic and i get a load of smoke out of the bonnet, opened it and the smoke was coming out from the fuse box. i have had the fan on direct, so i suspect this was the cause. i have replaced blown fuses and took the fan of direct, car runs but front heated screen and heaters dont work, and the alarms started playing up. i have checked and replaced all fuses. is there anything else i can check, do i need to replace the fuse box. pls help

 

relays? if you keep the fan on permanately it will burn out the yellow relay in the middle, replace it if it looks damaged

 

My fuse box caught light this was due to the headlight relays heating up and melting had to change whole loom in the end as fuse box was fooked
