I've heard alot about twin carbs or twin 40's and how they improve the performance of your motor . I know the basics of what they do , all i'm wondering is how they do it could neone of u experianced ford peeps tell me cheers

 

basically, they allow the engine to 'breathe more easily' (technically called improving it's volumetric efficiency) by being less restrictive than a single carb, or single throttle body.

that means that more air can be sucked in on the induction stroke, the right amount of fuel is added to that air, and you get more torque/power.
