on the 2wd saphy oil pump where the pickup tube bolts down is there a spacer under it cos i have about a 1inch gap between it and the block, any pictures of the bit i need or the setup would be greatfull

There isn't a spacer, the bracket bolts directly on to the block, make sure that the oil pickup pipe filter is the correct distance from the sump, if it isn't you'll have an issue with oil starvation

 

is there a gasket under the oil pump where it bolts to the block aswell?

 

No

 

just had a look at it today and there is no way the oil pick up tube is going to meet the block. i will take some picks and show you all
