Default Colour Change and EsCos Value.

What effect if any do you think changing the colour of your EsCos would have on its value?

I'm not taking anything wild, still within the EsCos colour range.

Would love to have a polaris grey one and thought what effect it would have if i got mine bare metal resprayed in this colour from the red it is just now.

Just thinking out loud.

You would de-value your car.

I wouldn't do it personally, I think it would devalue the car and lose its originality, if you want one another one in another why not try a px with a trader or if you have spent a lot on mods, buy another and swap the bits over. Polaris is a very nice colour though

Give it a few years and people will be painting thei Escos' different colours left right and chelsea so it wont make the blindest bit of difference, though IMO if you are going to paint it, why choose a colour available "off the shelf" so to speak .... Also it MAY look from the oputside as if you are making the car out to be something it isnt... i.e. Dodgy....

Bear in mind to do it properly (engine out etc) expect to shell out 2-3k plus really

Go for it Take loads of pics to show to future buyers why you done it would not put me off if it was done properly and bills for work

Mines Red I dont like it and before you say why did you buy it
It was the condition ,Drive and original panels all mot,s etc
Looked at some others colours i wanted and they was sh*t Rust panels changed oil leaks

If i keep mine for a long time id like to change the colour strip it to a shell and go for it
