Need a helmet for my track session at FordFair in a couple of weeks. I have approx £200 to spend. Where's the best place to go and what's the best one to get?

 

got to your local bike shop mate, plenty to choose from and you can get a fairly decent one for £200

 

Just add another 200 squid and get an Arai one, you get what you pay for. And this is ya noggin we're talking about! Also comes in wicked livery!!

Bike stop in Stevenage old town is all your ever need! if not your more than welcome to borrow mine, as i've sold by bike!

get a simpson helmet(stig stylee) think they r a bit more than £200 though!

 

lewis they are about £275 ish i think £300 for a black visor.

im using my mates rather old one.....

 

You have to get a BMI Kite marked SIMPSON which are more expensive, as the US ones are in a word are illegal over here(as they're not kite marked).

Just make sure its got a green square sticker on the back, as some tracks can refuse them.


But they do look the nutz!

Ive seen some airbrushed SIMPSONS with look pure class! Skull paintjob's looks awsome!!!

 

It's only a short term fix to cover me for FordFair as I will be getting a proper one at Christmas Can't really afford to fork out £200 at the mo either but it's the most I can sort in the short time I have

Nice one PON. Might be easier if you don't mind, and will save Franco lending a helmet to somebody he doesn't know.

 

I too need a skidlid for ford fair - i think theres about 5 of us from fordsport on the track at the same time!!

Didnt realise i was looking at 200 quid for one though!

They got some very good prices and even their cheap helmets are very very good quality.

Infact the MDS helemts are made by AGV and are top quality and well cheap (seen them in bike shops for £80-100) on there website only £44
