A/F ratio guage wiring (saxo)
Right, I noticed on another forum someone asking how to wire an a/f ratio guage to their saxo, VTR/VTS im not sure which, I know a vts has a 4 wire sensor (internally heated) and his guage has 3 wires, so their are 2 feed wires and a + and a - on the sensor, how is it wired up to the guage?
I assume from the guage (3wires) one ignition live, one earth and the other a signal wire? so that leaves 1 signal wire from the sensor?
very curious about this as ive tried looking on gizoogle and cant find much help.

yes u only need one signal wire. Its usually a purple if i remeber righly (on autometer guages). If you lamba sensor has 4 wires test for pos and neg and then try it on 1 of the other 2 (it will be the wire which gives 0-1v approx from closed to open throttle)
Thanks! So their will be one wire left on the sensor (after finding the + & - and the signal wire needed) that's not needed for the guage, but obviously still wired to the car?
Thanks
Thanks
