I noticed last week that on one face of the rear brake disc on my ST170 there is a 3-4 mm lip and on the pad there is a lip too where it has not been wearing evenely across the surface of the pad or disc, what could be causing this?

 

i6ts a common problem

 

anyway to fix it or is it just new disc's and pads?
