Default GRS Intercooler fitting

Was wondering if any one who has fitted a GRS intercooler has had the same problem i am having when it comes to refitting the bumper!!!!

Iam mounting it with two fans mounted onto a GRS rad with the intercooler sitting in front. Now before i mounted the bumper back on, i made sure the rad was as far back as it could go, and that the intercooler was mounted forward enough to clear the fans.

The problem is that when i put the bumper back on, the top lip of the bumper is pushing very hard against the intercooler, which is pushing it back onto the fans

The only way which i can see this problem being sorted is to cut two small notches out either side of the top lip of the bumper, to allow the intercooler to sit comfortably how i intended it to.

Not a major issue, but after having a good look at how other peeps have mounted there’s in the same way, mostly all of them have not had to cut any notches out at all..

Has anybody had this same problem as i am having and can offer any advice, coz iam not sure if going to all the trouble to cut little notches out of the bumper worth doing when i really don't need to

Any advise would great

Ordered an intercooler off Graham a few weeks ago and i have to say he was the most helpful bloke i've spoken to regarding aftermarket parts! Really honest and upfront, and told me all the problems associated with the intercoooler

Top products and service... Graham did say to me that i would have to cut the bumper out alot and that it is alot of hassle to fit.. I know it's not on a escort but you get the idea he doesn't just take your money
