Yep just the truth dimension in which a larger plenum means it takes longer to fill when you open the throttle and hence longer for the engine to respond.

But to you, you refer to that as "better driveability"

Notice how ive got marin hadland agreeing with me, and you have no one agreeing with you, if nothing else that should ring the alarm bell as he isnt exactly famous for not knowing about engines

Although i'd like to think of me back in a REAL Cossie...thats easier to work with...was putting the engine in the Escos but engine dont come out as easy plus transmission is too expensive

PS will be a very very nice 10k miler YB on T34 7.5-1 comp etc for sale very soon

Phil, i like 18 year old girls as you cant teach old dogs new tricks

Which is why you are failing to grasp the plenum concept.

Anyway, im off out now to the PF meet, so you will hav to find someone else to teach you instead.

shoudlnt be hard to find someone, ANYONE on here who understand the basics of how engines work will know the score and can take up where i left off

The plenum arguement makes me look:
A) inteligent about engines, cause i understand plenum design
B) stupid about people, cause i thought its posisble to teach you basic theory and you actually grasp it

So you are half right on that one phil
