Watching some of those quick power runs. The cars are hardly under load for any length of time at all. Is this typical for " shoot out " r/r days?

No, I think you are most probably comparing to AVA, who's method is completely different to most others. Doesn't theirs hold the car at different load points for a short time?

PE's acceleration rate sounded perfectly normal to me and mine practically made what boost it makes on the road.

For those that are having problems, try downloading the DivX Codec.

As far as I know this can be done at www.divx.com
