Looks ok on the right car i think, don't really think it suits white cars though. Mine had it done when i got it, always liked to be honest, was awesome for shagging in, back in the day.....

Jock yeah I saw that one.
I had a cavalier years ago with tints but that was horrible, way too dark.
Some of the range rovers were I work have tints and they are ok at night, can still see the cars parked next too ya

TOTALLY depends on the car and the color.
I have had the last 2 of my normal cars tinted and they both looked good imho........Dont know whether to do the Mondeo VERY lightly
Here is what i had done
Range Rover with the backs slightly darker than the fronts

Vectra with a Darkish tint all round including the front screen

Can't see the point of having tints. You're limited to what density you can have them on the windscreen and front driver/passenger sides. Then if you go darker for the rears, it makes the car look odd IMO.

Stopping drivers
Both the police and VOSA are now stopping vehicles with tinted windows and checking the Visual Light Transmission (VLT) through
windscreens and side windows. If the light getting through is less than is legally required, the driver may be prohibited from using the
vehicle until the tint is removed. Motorists who don’t rectify the problem may be prosecuted.
The legal limits for window tinting are a minimum of:
● 70 per cent VLT for side windows
● 75 per cent VLT for windscreens on vehicles first used after April 1985 and 70 per cent VLT for those first used prior to that date.

Like you say, depends on the colour, personally i think my car wouldn't look half as good without the windows the way they are. Don't like it on white cars as i said earlier before you think i have some sort of tint fetish....
