old thread i know but saves starting a new one....

i've got an alcon 6 paddle clutch thats fooked... not sure if its a ford cover or the alcon one...

sat in traffic for 2 hrs and now its had it...

somebody told me that its glazed up but i'm not sure about that. done about 100 miles on motorway after that and its still had it. into 5th at 30mph. floor it and it slips like a git. oddly no smell

slips when it comes on boost... doesn't crunch into gear. not done many miles really... 6k max...

how long do they last usually?

anyting else worth thinking about or is this pretty much the best?

thats what i got and its been fine

im borrowing xrt-si's xr2 turbo and hes got a ap 4 paddle and that judders in traffic like a cunt but i found that if you add a bit more gas the judder stops

even that feels fine tbh so cant see the standard cover being needed
