The liitle thing you are talking about is the fuel flow sensor for the fuel computer (you do have a fuel computer right??). IT makes no odds at all which injector line this goes in, it only tells the computer the flow rate in the injector line (all 4 lines having the same flow rate), but if you have all the proper pipes it should IIRC go inline with the injector for number 1, the IN side going to the metering head, and the OUT side to the injector.
Have you identifed whether your metering head or injector is at fault?
YEAH MATE I HAVE A FUEL COMPUTER RIGHT SO ILL PUT THE PIPE ON ON NUMBER ONE INJECTOR WITH NUMBER ONE ON TOP OF THAT BUT WHAT GOES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS SORRY TO SOUND STUPID LOL
sorry im a little confused now? Have u just converted to KE Jetronic then or something? There should be a very short pipe from the metering head to the sensor, then the injector line for that sensor is different to all the rest (doesnt need to go to the metering head obviously)
the injector pipe then, to run the fuel computer there is a different pipe for that injector as it has to connect to the flow sensor rather than directly to the metering head, so 3 injectors go straight to the metering head, and the other via the flow sensor. Does that makes sense?
YEAH SO 3 INJECTORS ON THE METERING UNIT AND THE FOURTH PUT THE FUEL COMPUTER PIPE ON THE SPARE AND THE SPARE INJECTOR PIPE GOES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FUEL COMPUTER ITL HAVE TO BEND ABIT IS THIS OK
Yeah thats right, i presume the fuel computer is an addition then? There is proper pipes for the job, bending it should be ok but it would be better to get the proper pipe. i bought a set but ended up not using them, probably guna sell them but i paid quite a lot for mine
