Just took my Escort out on the roads for the first time since TRAX. I pulled out onto the road and rumbled towards the local Shell. Everything squeeking and rattling. I was thinking "God this is horrid" After fueling the old girl and putting some more gentle miles on to allow stuff to warm up and settle I started to open her up a bit. Not much grip and my arms were having to work, PAS makes you soft

Went for a blast down the local dual carriageway and showed a clean set of tyres to a bloke in a 944. Think he was upset

I love that car, and it's damn nice to have her back

 

 

Theres nothing better than the first drive for ages to blow the cobwebs out

I was really looking forward to taking mine out for a spin today................ but unfortunatly my back has decided that I should have a few days laid up in bed and gave up thursday afternoon leaving me in alot of pain...glad its now the Bedford track day weekend
