Hi everyone,just a quick query.....

my mate has just bought this

does anyone know where u can buy parts for these, apart from the xr2 forum as its rarely updated..but just uprated stuff like k&n bolt on filter, xr2 exhaust, recaro's etc.. didnt find much on Ebay either :\ .. any advice will be really helpful

i didnt mean it like, it never gets used, just i seem to see hardly any New posts, just mostly posts from 2010 and i just assume that the parts advertised are sold ...

i think hes after some capri rims, the 4 spoke ones, or pepperpots, see pepperpots quite a lot though, so wouldnt be a problem, and maybe an xr2 kit but i told him to just leave it.. thanks for all your input people... another thing..

Does the xr2 cvh engine just bolt straight in ?

 

Capri 4 spokes always pop up on ebay in various condition and colours
Xr2 kit would be to hard to find as someone is always breaking an xr2

To fit a cvh you'd need drivers side tie bar, cradle, top mount and bracket for alternator

You can fit 5 speed straight in with no cutting

 

From Watford.. I may be able to help, I no a guy with body kits wheels etc. Lots of spares in mill end...

Not sure. He has a couple of garage loads of xr2 spares from his youth?? Hopefully he's goin to let me have pickings so il let you no, I gave a score for a Bumper a while ago... You want pepper pots too?

Yes tried talking walked around the cars and there was just a unwelcomeing vibe in the air. Iv been more than once and you generally get funny looks- there is a few who are friendly but they seem a very private group..
