Default Fiesta mk3.5 Lower Arms/Wishbones

Our lasses Fiesta is needing a pair of wishbones on it, are there any upgrades available for the standard snide ones? E.g when i had my mk6 Escort, i got some PowerFlex bush'd lower arms for it, however it was quite a while ago, and have not got the foggiest where they came from. Does anyone know of any off-the-shelf upgrades?
Would there be any advantage to putting RS turbo/1800/XR2i ones on or are they all just a common part?
Cheers

You can have new bushes pushed into the arms. FRST arms are a non starter as they are unique to the FRST. Best think I can recomend from my experience with Mk3 Fiestas is to make sure you use arms from the dealer rather than from motorfactors as without fail these are total shit!

There are quite a few different lower arms for Mk3/3.5. As Oranoco says genuine Ford is best as patern parts barely last a year before needing replacement.

If you can cope with it you can replace the bushes with Powerflex, I've just done this to my mates and my Trackcar. I also replaced the balljoints at the same time. Took a couple of hours tops.

Just had a look on the powerflex website, it lists wishbone bushes for mk3's. Not bloody cheap though are they! Got a decent press at work, might be the way, to fling some cheap un's on for the mo, while i press the old bushes out and new powerflex ones into the original arms, and swap em back over when the cheapies get shot. Besides, if they last while christmas, the polybushed arms can be her pressie haha

S1 - tell me about it, thats why i bought some powerflex arms for me old escort, i got sick of changing wishbones every 4-6 months! I could do them in my bloody sleep! I cant acces your link pal!
