The two lights above the speedo (red and amber) both mean the same thing! They show that the fuel cut off is working! They should come on when you are off the throttle and deaccelerating from1600rpm and above! They will only work if the car is still running the Twin coil set up! Theres a few things to check. A wire that goes to the throttle body this completes a circuit when the throttle is fully closed. Make sure its clean on the connector at the end and where it connects to! Also theres a valve on top of the air box where another wire goes to make sure that connectors clean! That valve could be broken! So make sure that car is warm at use the throttle body to rev the car! As long as you rev it over 1600rpm you should be able to hear the valve open and close(it makes a weird noise) I think this is right but if im wrong the lad's will sort you out on here! simon

all sounds correct to me that.

also - the valve's could be a bit dirty on the inside, spray some brake cleaner at them,to clean um up.

If the above does not work, theres a male switch with two prongs on@ the rear of the plenum chamber ( underneath) its common for one of the wires to come off(if one of the two wires has...replace!) Also if you have a spare ECU swop them over, its also common for this to be an ecu fault ( car runs perfect apart from this).
