Default Cannot write onto a disc.

when trying to write things onto a disc it always comes up that windows is currently using it,please try later.

How do i sort this out.

No good whith these things.

I take it you have closed down all other programs?
It sounds like something else is taking up the resource and not allowing your burning program to use it.
Has it always been like this or did it used to work ok?

XP Might be taking up the resource.

Right click on the CD recorder in my computer and go down to properties

Go to the recording tab

Untick enable recording on this drive.

Reboot and retry.

Windows media player allows to to copy audio cd's fine, or you can "rip" the tracks to .wma format and then burn the to cd. I would personally reccommend using Nero Burning Rom for burning cd's

Can MSN it if needed
