i installed zone alarm pro earlier in the week , been playing around with the settings , but a few things that pissed me off ,

i couldnt log into my hotmail account

when i downloaded a file it wouldnt say how big the file was , i just had to wait for it to finish(quite annoying)

theres a few other things as well but cant remember!!

btw , ive now uninstalled it as it was doing my head in!!

please help

 

Are the things you list above still wrong.

Sometimes you dont get a download time of file size when your downloading i have noticed this in the past.

is there anything else.

 

yeh , but if i disable zonealarm then its fine!!

also on here i log in then it unlogs me if i change the page , im just not sure how to adjust the cookies??

Dont know zone alarm.

it can only be the settings but if you start disabling things then its not worth having zone alarm.

if you disable it do you get logged out of this each time or is it only when you have zone alarm enabled.????????????

 

no its only when i have it enabled , i know its useless if i have to have it disabled thats why i un installed it , im gonna give it one more try at the weekend and see if i can get it working properly
