Iv just re-installed windows on the comp to get rid of viruses, now I cant get the wee @ sign and the " have changed keys??????????

Any idea as to how this has happened and how do i change it back

Set your keyboard to English (United Kingdom) in control panel.
It will probaly be set to English (United States)

 

Can you give me a step by step m8, I'm not to good with computers

What version of windows do you have ?

 

windows xp home edition

 

Click Start, then Control Pannel, then Regional and Language Options

'once u done that a box will pop up

In that box click the language tab and then the "details" button

Once u done that u can set up what type of keyboard you have and what language it is and so on
