Can I ask mate, wouldn't it fail the MOT with the wheels sticking out further than the bodywork like that? :?

Gav Diamond 25-10-2005 05:14 PM

There is a bit of a discrepency with that law as once you turn the steering on any vehicle the tyres stick out past the arch.

I personally do not know the ins and outs but it has always passed a mot like that.

Cheers guys for the nice comments.

Car is also on ebay

Just wondered mate, I got a prohibition notice on my old XR3i for having 18's with 215 Toyo's on it! Fookin dumb police! :wall:

That takes the biscuit tho!

Good Luck wiv the sale! :top:

I was gonna ask the same thing because my mate got pulled in his mini for having the wheels stick out past the bodywork, it is illegal :(

After asking why we were told that if a person was to walk out infornt of the vehicle and be struck near one of the front wheels they would be dragged under the car by the wheel/tyre instead of being struck to the ground :?
