Guess i should know this but is it possible to adjust the clutch
cable on a series 2?

Having a bit of trouble selecting gear since the engine has gone back in.
The clutch pedal has to be pushed right to the very bottom to be able to get gears,even then some times it wont select.

Ive also fitted a B+M shifter,could this be anything to do with the problem?

Also does it matter which hole the cable is put through on the gear box
before it hooks onto the black arm?
