and Stu, GPRS used to be similar speed to GSM (ie 9.6) but recent(ish) upgrades in the existing infastructere mean you can get 56k speeds :top
GSM = 9.6k
HSCSD = 28.8k (GSM Call x2)
GPRS = 56k / 14.4k (down/up) [Theoretical max if they uncapped it would be just over 100k]
3G = 384k
