having a problem with my zetec turbo geting too hot so i removed the thurmostat and it didnt make much diference at all! apart from it would take about 10 miles to warm up!

even crusing at 70 mph with the stat removed the temp guage is just below half way and rises if its under load

could a blocked up rad cause this?

and is there any stuff i can buy that can clean out the radiator?

i bought the car as a non runner to install the engine in to so i dont rearly know how it cooled before

i have a front mount pro-alloy intercooler and in traffic the fans cant seem to get the temp guage below the 3/4 mark

also if i boot it for a minuite the temp will go up to the red then then take 5 miles of light crusing at 50-70 mph to get to half way on the temp guage

in traffic if i put the heater on with the blowers it makes quite a big diference

just wonderd if you lot have come across this sort of thing before and how you fixed it
