The gauge came with a three way adapter, with one male thread at the bottom and two different sized female threads either side. Am i right in saying that the three way adapter screws in place of the standard oil pressure switch, then the switch screws into the adapter, then finally the hose leading from the gauge screws into the other side of the adapter.
Yes youre correct,its an ok job to do,just a little difficult as its at the back of the block,scraped knuckles etc.May be easier getting to it from beneath the car.Regards Micky
