i call tell you about the pics i posted...
the two first are from a MK1 Escort Drag Car which competes in Malta. Its best ET is 7.8 if i remember correctly and there more to come as the car started its season recently...
The second picture its from a Ford Capri Drag Car with an original RS500 YB engine. On its previous setup had a personnal best of 9@255 but fron this season they use this huge turbonetics turbocharger and they still tune the car... The is a genuine 8 second car but it needs tune up....
The MK1 Escort uses i Lenco gearbox (i think) and air-shifter etc... and the Capri uses a Liberty unit (probably the best gearbox around)... Both use lots of nitrous to spool the engine, but many exotic solutions, engine wise...
Of course turbo pressures are not the values we are used to but they reach, or can exceed 3 bar!!!!!!!! (45 psi)....
